Retreat Day – Terms & Conditions
By booking a place on the Retreat Day, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Booking & Payment
Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All prices are quoted in GBP (£).
Cancellation by You
If you are unable to attend, the following cancellation terms apply:
More than 60 days before the retreat: a full refund, less a £20 administration fee.
Between 30 and 60 days before the retreat: 50% refund.
Less than 30 days before the retreat: no refund will be available.
You are welcome to transfer your place to another person if you are unable to attend. Please notify the organiser in writing prior to the retreat.
If your place can be resold, a refund may be offered at the organiser's discretion.
Cancellation by the Organiser
In the unlikely event that the retreat needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded in full.
The organiser cannot be held responsible for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred.
Changes to the Programme
While every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as advertised, the organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, schedule, venue arrangements, activities, refreshments, resources or facilitators where necessary.
Health & Wellbeing
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and emotionally able to take part in the retreat.
The practices offered during the retreat are intended to support personal wellbeing, relaxation and self-development and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis or treatment.
If you have any health conditions, injuries, allergies, accessibility requirements or other circumstances that may affect your participation, please inform the organiser before attending.
Meditation, EFT and Wellbeing Practices
The retreat may include meditation, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), energy-based practices, relaxation exercises and other wellbeing activities.
While these practices are generally well tolerated by many people, they are not intended to replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care, diagnosis or treatment.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health team, have a diagnosed mental health condition, neurological condition, or any other health concern that may affect your participation, you are advised to consult your GP, consultant or other appropriate healthcare professional before attending.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Clinical Depression
Bipolar Disorder
Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders
Epilepsy
By booking and attending the retreat, you confirm that you have considered your own physical and mental wellbeing, accept responsibility for your participation, and where appropriate have sought professional medical advice before attending.
Personal Responsibility
Participation in all activities is entirely voluntary.
You are free to opt out of any activity at any time without explanation.
You remain responsible for your own wellbeing, choices and actions throughout the retreat and are encouraged to work within your own comfort levels at all times.
Dietary Requirements
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary requirements where these are communicated in advance. However, specific dietary needs cannot be guaranteed.
Photography & Media
Photographs may occasionally be taken during the retreat for promotional and marketing purposes.
No close-up photographs of participants will be used without prior permission.
If you would prefer not to appear in any photographs, please inform the organiser on arrival.
Liability
The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to the retreat.
Participants attend and participate in the retreat at their own risk.
The organiser shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense or claim arising from participation in the retreat, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Force Majeure
The organiser shall not be liable for any cancellation, delay, change or interruption caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, venue issues, government restrictions, transport disruption, illness or other unforeseen events.
